More than 80 participants from different regions of Russia took part in the «Legal Support of Telecommunication business 2008» Conference, among them representatives of State Duma of RF, Ministry of Information Technology and Communications, Government Commission of Radio Frequencies (GCRF), Regional branches of Rossvyazochrankultura, the biggest Russian operators (OJSC «Мegafon», CJSC “Sky Link“, AFC «Systema», OJSC «МТS», CJSC «Sonic Duo», CJSC «Synterra», OJSC «VimpelCom», OJSC «Sibirtelecom», OJSC «Volga Telecom» ,CJSC «Trivon Network», etc.), consulting and scientific centers (Legal Company «Pepelyaev, Golzblat and Partners», RANS Regional Branch «Information and Telecommunications Technologies»).

The «Legal Support of Telecommunication business 2008» Conference was devoted to issues of Russian Telecommunication Law development and improvement, new legislation initiatives and practical aspects of law enforcement and legal-regulation relations on Russian Telecommunication Market. During the Conference the issues of legal regulation development in Russian ICT sphere, GCRF activity on Regulation procedures Simplification for Radio Spectrum utilization and Licensing, Telecom tax-and-duties for operator companies were considered.
