More than 35 participants from 11 countries took part in the ETSI Seminar , among them representatives of ЕТSI Secretariat, the biggest manufacturers and vendors of telecommunication equipment (Interdigital Communications Corporation, Robert BOSCH, Motorola S.A.S., SISVEL SPA), National Administrations (Ethiopian telecommunication Agency, Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs, German Ministry of Economics and Technology, Norwegian Post and Telecommunications Authority), European telecom operators (Telia Sonera, T – Mobile, и др.) and research centers (Infinion Technologies, Technology Institut EURECOM, Deutsche Flugsicherung Gmbh, Fraport AG, ITT RAEN, British Association of Public-Safety, Association of Service Providers GB, ).
Over 20 presentation and announcements were presented on ETSI structure and work directions, forming of ETSI budget and Member contributions, IRP issues, radio and telecom technologies progress, the features of European standardization process (www.etsi.org).
The RANS Regional Branch «Information and Telecommunications Technologies» took part in the ETSI seminar. The presentation «Regulation and EC in EC Environmental» one of ITT RAEN member is available upon request.
