On January 29, 2009, the RANS Regional Branch “Economy and Communications System Quality” (RANS ECSQ) and RANS Regional Branch “Information and Telecommunications Technologies” (RANS ITT) signed a Partnership Agreement that provides cooperation of the Branches in organizing RANS events dealing with development and implementation of mobile systems and services in Russia. In particular, under the Agreement, the representatives of RANS ECSQ and RANS ITT will be invited to workshops and conferences of the Branches; they will also jointly participate in publications of Branch scientific paper collections and in the development of communications industry regulatory framework. The Agreement was signed by the RANS ECSQ and RANS ITT Branch Chairmen A.V. Kudin, Candidate of Science (Engineering) and RANS Academician, and Prof. V.O. Tikhvinskiy, Doctor of Economics and RANS Academician.
