On November 26-30, 2007 in Sofia-Antipolis, (France), were held meetings of TISPAN4-TISPAN WG4 working group of TISPAN/ETSI technical committee («Existing and future convergent access networks, including NGN) and 41st General Assembly of European Institute of Telecommunication and Standardization (ETSI).

30 delegates from 10 countries had participated in ETSI working group meetings and represented ЕТSI secretariat and ТС MTS, the biggest equipment producers (Ericsson AB, Rohde & Schwarz GmbH), national communication administrations (ICP - Autoridade Nacional de Comunicacoes, NATIONAL POST & TELECOM AGENC, OFCOM (CH)), European communication operators (Swisscom SA, Vodafone D2 GmbH, TELECOM ITALIA S.p.A., Deutsche Telekom AG, T – Mobile (Hungary), etc) and research centers («Information and telecommunication technologies» RAEN department, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, TNO Information and Communication Technology).

Meeting of TISPAN4-TISPAN WG4 working group of TISPAN/ETSI technical committee was devoted to several questions such as development of series of NGN (2) and UMTS (LTE) (Release 8) standards, which are determined numeration, identification and routing in UMTS /IMS and WiMAX networks.
